Per Mònica Pujol (Secondary English Teacher)

Last 27th of July I came back from Dublin, Ireland, where I attended a 2-weeks Erasmus+ course sharing experience and knowledge with other European teachers. This course named Educating for the 21st Century – Re-imagining our schools for our children’s future has provided me new tools to apply in classes.

The programme consisted of introducing new methodologies such as CLIL, Project Based Learning or Technology (either for teachers and students). It also dealt with teaching self-organized learning environments or promoting Critical Thinking skills.

I have also approached the Irish culture with informative trips in the afternoon guided by our teacher, Liam. Most of the visits were related to the topic we had been working in the morning.

I’m sure that this experience will help me to enhance my classes using new teaching practices in our 21st century school.
